As tourists demand better travel experiences, the thermal comfort inside ice shell buildings is crucial for their spatial use efficiency. This study focuses on ice restaurants, a typical ice shell building. Using the Grasshopper platform, it sets up a parametric modeling and performance simulation workflow to explore the indoor thermal conditions of different—shaped ice restaurant models.
