This paper analyzes the development of solar power in West Bengal by focusing on the current status, challenges, and prospects of the state. The performance of solar energy is evaluated across different project types, such as ground-mounted and rooftop installations, and then compared with India’s overall solar capacity using quantitative data and district-level analysis. It will reflect the regional disparities in the adoption of solar power, point out the key barriers of inadequate policies, constraints due to land, unfavorable climatic conditions, and propose targeted strategies for reducing these gaps. It tries to align the renewable energy track of West Bengal with national goals and aid in the sustainable development of energy.

摘要
