A Novel Video Frame Encryption Method Using 3D Lorenz Map and Julia Set Fractal Based Pseudo Random Number Sequence
摘要
Video frame encryption is a new research direction and has a tremendous potential in the future, where parallel encryption operations can be performed. Security of any important video clip is extremely required to maintain secrecy and privacy. Security attacks can be dangerous in terms of theft of video footage making serious monetary loss to unauthorized access to important information. In this paper, a novel video frame encryption technique has been developed. The concept of 3d Lorenz map and fractal geometry are combined together to create pseudo random number which is used to substitute the original image. The XOR operation is implemented in substitution phase. Then, confusion is carried out using pseudo random number using index position. This novel encrypting technique demonstrates desired value of entropy, UACI, and NPCR. Our proposed scheme presents a uniform histogram report along with low correlation values in comparison with the prevalent research studies. Also, the efficiency of the encryption scheme lies in the speed of encryption operations which are quite low in all aspects.
