Bus-Mitra: Track and Travel
摘要
Sudden economic growth in developing countries has led to massive population growth in urban areas, placing an undue burden on public transport systems. Public transport is the only means of transport for most people. It also makes cities more accessible and reduces the congestion. Effective public transit decreases congestion, encourages greater sharing of resources and opportunities, and lessens pollution, as found in recent studies. It is vital to streamline bus schedules, routes, and fleet locations to meet this demand economically and sustainably. As transit management studies have shown, efficient routing and resource assignment can significantly improve service reliability and customer satisfaction. Transportation agencies can map and evaluate service voids to detect them, eliminate redundancies, and enhance existing routes.
