Exploratory Research on the Digital to Intelligent Transformation of Equipment Verification Testing

The construction of equipment digitalization is a powerful support for building new national competitive advantages. Apart from the United States, many military powers are deeply advancing the digitalization and intelligent transformation of their equipment. As one of the current hotspots in global development, intelligence and digitalization are not only important means to improve the level of equipment research and development but also a trend in the evolution of future military warfare. Equipment verification testing, as a critical part of the entire lifecycle of equipment construction, faces increasingly stringent requirements with the continuous development of systems. Intelligent testing, as a new testing model, is an unstoppable trend in the future development of equipment verification testing. To better support the full lifecycle testing and verification of equipment, this paper constructs an intelligent testing framework based on the existing digital testing foundation, featuring a structure composed of the system standardization layer, basic physical layer, task management layer, and top decision-making layer. It analyzes key issues and construction ideas in the process of transitioning from digital to intelligent testing in equipment verification, including virtual testing, intelligent devices, smart assisted assembly, twin mapping, and the application of testing big data.
