To improve the efficiency of telemetry data analysis for flight test and to improve the display quality of flight test telemetry monitoring, a new flight test telemetry monitoring simulation method based on flightgear is proposed. The telemetry monitoring simulation system integrates the real-time telemetry data with the open-source flight simulation software flightgear, it can display the flight status of the test aircraft in real-time. Simulation system uses C# of Visual Studio to develop telemetry server software and simulation control software using. Telemetry server software is responsible for receiving and processing telemetry data, simulation control software is responsible for sending data to the flightgear IO module in a specific format. After the aircraft simulation model is driven by the dynamics simulation module in flightgear to display the flight state of the aircraft. Through actual closed-loop simulation, the experimental results show that the telemetry monitoring simulation displays based on FlightGear are realistic, and the aircraft status responses are real-time and accurate.
