A Study of Coupled CFD-MBD Approach for Transient Pressure Relief Analysis in Aeroengine Nacelles
摘要
A CFD/MBD (Computational Fluid Dynamics/Multibody Dynamics) fluid–structure interaction solver was developed by integrating a multibody dynamics module with an in-house parallel CFD solver incorporating dynamic mesh generation techniques, enabling transient simulation analysis of pressure relief systems with constraint conditions. The validity of the multibody dynamics solver was first verified through benchmark cases. Building upon this established simulation methodology, a transient approach was implemented to investigate the flow characteristics throughout the complete opening cycle of pressure relief doors using a specified nacelle pressure relief model.
