Dynamics Modeling of an Aerial Refueling Hose-Drogue with Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation
摘要
The dynamic model of the flexible hose-drogue assembly is the base of the docking control design and the aerial refueling simulation. This paper focuses on modeling the hose-drogue assembly accurately. The dynamic model of the flexible hose is established based on the variable-length elements of the absolute nodal coordinate formulation, which can describe the flexibility of the hose more accurately than that modeled by the lumped parameter methods. The air flow field including the wing vortex and the wind turbulence is modeled to calculate aerodynamic forces of the hose-drogue assembly. The paper will provide support for the study of aerial refueling technologies.
