The first time Chinese Nationalist diplomats were confronted with the problem of Palestine was in April 1945, during the founding conference of the United Nations Organization held in San Francisco. China, now recognized as a great power with a seat and veto right in the Security Council, became the focus of Zionist diplomats. Why was China that important to the Zionist diplomats?
