Domestic pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants generally adopt computerized control room design. Therefore, it is necessary to digitize the operating procedure system to improve the efficiency of operating procedure execution, enhance the safety of nuclear power plant operation, and reduce the burden on operators. Due to the complex computerization process of procedures, which requires code modification, parameter configuration, high professional skill requirements, and is prone to errors, potential operational risks often exist. Additionally, the lack of independent procedure servers and the irregular changes in management procedures and requirements for power plant operation procedures have increased the complexity of procedure updates. This is also the main reason why digital procedures for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants such as ACP1000 Power Plant are not widely used in China. The digital procedure system proposed in this article digitizes all operating procedures of nuclear power plants. Based on the execution characteristics and management requirements of different types of operating procedures, they are configured in different network areas. The digital procedure system consists of the Operation Control and Protection Area (DCS) and the Operation Auxiliary Area (AIC). The system consists of five parts: interface and display functions, interface functions, control and logic functions, management functions, and procedure editing functions. It covers various operating procedures, meets the requirements of master control and on-site application scenarios, and develops and manages procedures through unified standards and structured design. It achieves digital procedure issuance and real-time tracking of on-site procedure execution status by the master control room, effectively solving problems such as difficult procedure updates and complex processes, greatly improving the convenience of operators in executing procedure updates.
