Gender equality is not only an inalienable human right but is also precondition for sustaining peace, security, and development in the world today. There are discriminatory laws and policies exist today, and women have very little representation or none at all in many fields, of women and girls between 15 and 49 years 1% cited physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner. By 2030, sustainable development goal 5 (SDG 5) targets to see gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls globally. The research on gender equality shows that women are more vulnerable globally in areas including poverty, representation in public jobs, instability, and physical and sexual abuse. Artificial intellect (AI) is the replication of human intelligence in computers. AI has potential to reduce gender imbalance and provide more equitable procedures. This paper presents the role of AI in achieving gender equality, by detecting prejudices in hiring and promotion, it improves women’s health by providing safety applications and individualized treatment, financial independence, enhance justice systems, stop violence, and assist survivors, etc.
