Vehicular Pollution and Its Impact on Human Health

The rising number of cars due to urbanization and economic growth raises concerns about vehicular pollution. In this study impact of vehicular pollution on roadside residents of Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), addressing dust concentration was evaluated. The data for dust concentration of ICR region was collected using dust sampler APM 460DXNL. The responses provided by the participants were also evaluated. To evaluate the distribution of the collected data, an initial normality test was conducted using SPSS. Following this, a one-way ANOVA test in SPSS was performed to assess the potential risks associated with exposure to vehicular air pollution and to evaluate the health impact. Additionally, particular attention was given to the health implications linked to PM10 concentration at the specific location, in conjunction with the medical statistical data available for the chest and respiratory department.
