Magnetic Separation of Ironsands
摘要
Relative to typical hematite and magnetite ores, ironsands are disadvantaged by both lower grades of valuable elements and inferior reduction kinetics. To address these issues, this book proposes a two-fold pretreatment strategy: (1) physical enrichment via grinding and magnetic separation to enhance iron and titanium oxide content; and (2) chemical modification via pre-oxidation to improve reduction behavior. This chapter focuses on the grinding dissociation behavior, optimization of magnetic separation parameters, and the associated force mechanisms.
