This chapter reviews the apparatus and techniques used in the experiments. The chapter is divided into two sections. The first section describes the experimental apparatus, including the vacuum system, the magnetic field system, the laser system, and the optical setup. The second section describes the experimental techniques, including the optical tweezer array generation and trapping and imaging of single ytterbium atoms.
