The Research on the Cause of GSS Pump Vibration in Unclear Power Station
摘要
This paper presents a detailed analysis of the vibration phenomenon in the circulation pump of MOISTURE SEPARATOR REHEATER SYSTEM (GSS) and its contributing factors. The circulation pump is a centrifugal pump, and driven by the electric AC motor. The study focuses on understanding the causes behind the vibration volatility during the operation of the pumping mechanism, with particular emphasis on the relationship between pump vibration velocity and pipe loading. The research methodology includes three main steps: First, vibration test were conducted to assess pump performance under varying operating conditions, along with pipeline displacement measurements and modal analysis. The test results revealed a clear pattern in pump vibration velocity, highlighting pipe displacement as the primary factor contributing to vibration instability. Second, based on above findings, an analytical model incorporating the influence of dead weight, temperature changes, and pipe displacement was developed to estimate the resulting nozzle loads. Finally, a comprehensive solution strategy was proposed, integrating the insights gained from both experimental testing and theoretical analysis.
