A 25-Year-Old Male with Recurrent Panic Attack and Bumpy Lips
摘要
A young normotensive male presented with erectile dysfunction and primary subfertility. The incidental detection of bumpy lips led to the query of “Pheo spell” that was typically present. These symptoms coupled with the presence of mucosal neuroma prompted the evaluation for MEN 2B. He was found to have thyroid medullary carcinoma and pheochromocytoma at the same time. Interestingly his symptoms improved following the resection of tumor, and the research of review literature suggested that erectile dysfunction could be a presenting feature of pheochromocytoma.
