Invasive artificial filling urodynamics is the current gold standard of quantitative lower urinary tract functional assessment in children. In addition to invasiveness and poor tolerance, this technique has limitations and potential measurement errors especially in younger children. Health technologies are being developed to overcome these flaws and barriers. These include ambulatory pressure measurements (AUDS), ultrasound-based wearables, and other intricate technologies that may improve the diagnosis and care in the near to medium future. This chapter is a brief overview of these currently available and emerging technologies.
