Stable Mixed Organic Tin Bromide Low Dimensional Perovskites by Solution Processing
摘要
We report solution-processed lead-free organic-inorganic tin halide perovskite thin films for optoelectronic applications. Here, we synthesized and characterized bulk methylammonium tin bromides and mixed methylammonium-octylammonium tin bromide low dimensional perovskites. Stable tin-based organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites can be a replacement for toxic-lead-based perovskites. The hydrophobic long-chain organic cation-octylammonium presents stability to the material from atmospheric moisture. The method introduced is fundamental and simple. Solution-synthesized perovskites were suspended in dimethylformamide. The suspension is spin-coated and drop-cast to glass slides for further characterization. Perovskite films exhibit a crystalline nature and a band gap around 2.4 eV.
