Osteoarthritis
摘要
Osteoarthritis (OA) is recognized as the most prevalent joint disorder encountered in clinical settings and stands among the foremost causes of disability on a global scale. Radiological manifestations of OA become apparent in the majority of individuals by the age of 65, with approximately 80% of people over 75 exhibiting radiographic changes. The disease spectrum ranges from being entirely asymptomatic to presenting as disabling monoarthritis or polyarthritis. The hallmark symptom is mechanical pain. Although OA can affect any synovial joint, the hands, knees, and hips are most frequently involved.
