A Brief Analysis of HTR-PM Helium Purification System Regeneration Technology

HTR-PM uses helium as the primary coolant. Impurity gas will inevitably be introduced such as atmosphere switching and new helium addition. Chemical reaction in the primary system at high temperature and other reasons will also lead to the increase of gas impurity content in helium. The existence of these impurities is harmful to reactor operation. HTR-PM removes most of the gas impurities through the helium purification system. When the purification equipment in the helium purification system is saturated, it needs to be regenerated. The control of process parameters in the regeneration process is the key factor to determine whether the regeneration effect of the purification equipment is good. Based on the first regeneration process of the helium purification system after HTR-PM power operation, this paper analyzes the regeneration technology of the HTR-PM helium purification system. By controlling the process parameters of the regeneration process, the helium purification equipment has achieved a good regeneration effect.
