With the development of nuclear power in China, the scale of China’s nuclear power will continue to grow. The amount of spent fuel will also increase. The demand for spent fuel transportation will grow rapidly. Transportation spent fuel through a multimodal transport system has become an inevitable way. At present, all nuclear power plants along the coast of China have self-owned docks, but most of the self-owned docks are built for transporting large nuclear power equipment, without considering the transportation needs of spent fuel. Therefore, most docks do not have the conditions for loading and unloading spent fuel packages. Based on this, this article takes into account the existing conditions of some of China’s nuclear power self-owned docks, and considers the technical conditions of existing dedicated ships for transporting spent fuel. It proposes a unified set of technical conditions that the docks should possess to meet the requirements of spent fuel cargo packaging and unloading, in order to provide reference and design input for the renovation or construction of nuclear power self-owned docks.

摘要
