The fuel handling system is a key system for the operation of the core fuel in the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTR-PM). It plays an indispensable role in the loading, refueling, unloading, and boundary isolation of the reactor core. There are many equipment and a wide distribution range in the fuel handling system. The stable operation of rotating equipment determines the efficiency of fuel replacement. The accuracy and rationality of the ball counting are the key to ensuring the normal operation of rotating equipment. This paper mainly introduces the application of counting logic in the fuel handling system of the HTR-PM reactor. Based on the on-site experience data of the HTR-PM reactor, this paper analyzes and discusses the optimal solutions to the problems of overcounting and undercounting, and gives reasonable suggestions for improving the fuel handling efficiency.

摘要

The fuel handling system is a key system for the operation of the core fuel in the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTR-PM). It plays an indispensable role in the loading, refueling, unloading, and boundary isolation of the reactor core. There are many equipment and a wide distribution range in the fuel handling system. The stable operation of rotating equipment determines the efficiency of fuel replacement.
