Extraction chromatography technology has been developed for trivalent minor actinides recovery from spent nuclear fuel. Currently, two study projects of the technology are progressing for the implementation. In the first project, systematic studies on flow-sheet design, safety assessments, and system design are ongoing in 2019–2024 to increase the TRL up to 5. Further studies are carried out in the project of 2024–2026 for the realization of Green Transformation (GX).
