Promoting industrial DX in Japan and advancing government EBPM require data-based efforts to accurately understand the current situation of DX initiatives. This study analyzes the macro status of DX using objective indicators such as the DX Certification System and corporate financial data. In addition, it examines the simultaneous promotion of DX and GX by analyzing data on companies participating in the GX League. Based on these analyses and current DX-related policies, this study presents three policy recommendations to support EBPM and further promote industrial DX in Japan.
