Small Scale MIMO Antenna with Improved Isolation for Wireless Applications
摘要
The compact size Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) microwave microstrip antenna is designed and analyzed in this work. Initially an antenna is made up of tuning-fork connected having circular ring loaded with two rectangular split slot defective ground structure. After that two designed antennas placed perpendicular to each other to form MIMO configuration. The complete dimension of suggested MIMO antenna is 45 × 24 × 1.27 mm3. The proposed MIMO structure operates at 4.7 GHz having 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 570 MHz. Return loss, overall gain, isolation, radiation pattern, coefficient of envelope correlation (ECC), and gain of diversity (DG) are all examined in connection to the MIMO structure. It provides isolation more than 22 dB having gain 4.1 dB at operating frequency. The performance of this suggested small MIMO antenna system demonstrates a large bandwidth, fast data transfer, and significant decrease in both physical and virtual size, making it an attractive option for next-generation wireless application systems.
