This research paper presents the design and development of a low volume multistrip multiband monopole antenna tailored for GSM/WiMAX/WLAN applications. The antenna exhibits impressive impedance bandwidth characteristics across the desired frequency ranges: 21.05% impedance bandwidth for GSM (1.7–2.1 GHz), 10.00% impedance bandwidth for WiMAX (2.8–3.1 GHz), and 7.84% impedance bandwidth for WLAN (4.9–5.3 GHz). The compact size of the antenna, measuring 26 × 40 × 0.8 mm3, makes it suitable for integration into modern communication devices. The antenna is designed on FR4 epoxy substrate having a dielectric constant of 4.4. The substrate is easily available and is cheap on pockets which makes the fabrication cost and integration more practically fesiable.
