Hadamard Spaces and Their Dynamics at Infinity

This is a survey on dynamical aspects of Hadamard spaces—locally compact geodesically complete CAT(0) spaces. If a group \(\Gamma \) acts geometrically on a Hadamard space X, then we are interested in the induced action \(\Gamma \curvearrowright \partial _{\infty }X\) . We include some proofs of simple things but mostly concentrate on collecting relevant results (of various authors) and put them into general context.
