The Transformer Era of Generative Intelligence: Evolution of Language and Vision Models
摘要
Recent advancements in AI and ML have led to breakthroughs in natural language processing (NLP) and image generation. OpenAI’s GPT models, starting from GPT-1 to GPT-4, use pre-training on unlabeled data and fine-tuning for specific tasks, with GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 incorporating reinforcement learning for better alignment with human intent. Meanwhile, models like Meta’s LLaMA and Google’s StyleGAN3 have improved image generation, with LLaMA refining transformer architecture and StyleGAN3 excelling in high-resolution image creation. Models such as stable diffusion and DALLE-2 further enhance capabilities in text-to-image generation and editing, showcasing AI’s growing versatility.
