Exploration and Practice of Ideological and Political Education for Intelligent Manufacturing Major: A Case Study in the Reformation of Courses in Artificial Intelligence

Education is an important guarantee for the development of the Party's cause. How to carry out ideological and political education teaching in interdisciplinary courses and cultivate high-quality innovative talents with interdisciplinary characteristics is a key task and important challenge for talent cultivation in Chinese universities. This article focuses on the practical path of integrating ideological and political education into the teaching courses in artificial intelligence (AI), addressing issues such as abstract content and difficulty in integrating ideological and political effects. Firstly, a diversified ideological and political (IP) teaching framework for artificial intelligence curriculum mode under the background of intelligent manufacturing was constructed. Then construct a hierarchical structure model for ideological and political education in artificial intelligence courses, and explore ideological and political elements in the teaching process, actively integrate them into the classroom, and cultivate students’ learning interests and value shaping. The research mode will provide reference and inspiration for teachers to conduct IP education in courses.
