Systems and mechanisms are among the most important factors affecting the development of the service sector. In China, the reforms of systems and mechanisms in the service sector have long lagged behind those in the agricultural and industrial sectors. The inflexibility of service sector systems and mechanisms directly hinders the rapid, healthy and orderly development of China’s service sector. By comprehensively deepening the reforms of the service sector systems and mechanisms, it will be of great significance to promoting the great development of the service sector, providing a strong endogenous impetus for the sustainable development of the service sector, and forming a “new normal” led by the service economy. The reforms of the service sector systems are considered as a systematic project that requires breakthroughs in key areas and overall advancement, and will create supporting conditions for deepening service sector reforms.
