The Organizational Guidance Model: Civil Society Support for Rural Mutual Aid Elderly Care in China
摘要
This chapter systematically examines the “organizational guidance model” of rural mutual aid elderly care in China, highlighting how social organizations—under government authorization and policy support—effectively enhance the professionalism and diversification of rural eldercare through resource integration, platform construction, and service innovation. The chapter elucidates the generative logic, organizational foundation, advantage supplementation, and responsibility-driven practices of social organizations and analyzes how they activate multiple stakeholders, mobilize various resources, and optimize service processes to advance the high-quality development of mutual aid elderly care in rural areas. Drawing on rich empirical cases, it showcases practical pathways and innovative experiences, providing both theoretical insights and practical references for improving China’s rural eldercare service system.
