Therapeutic Procedures of Balloon-Assisted Enteroscopy
摘要
Select an appropriate hood based on the therapeutic purpose. Utilize clip marking to identify the bleeding sources effectively. In cases where visualization is challenging, employ gel immersion endoscopy to ensure a clear view. Treat small polyps in familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) using cold snare polypectomy. Conduct small bowel examinations in patients with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome by the age of 8. Treat polyps associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome by endoscopic ischemic polypectomy using clips or detachable snares. Determine the target dilation diameter based on the stenotic inner diameter measured using a calibrated small-caliber-tip transparent (CAST) hood. Perform therapeutic interventions with a thorough understanding of the anatomical features of the small intestine.
