Obstructive Uropathy
摘要
Obstruction of the flow of urine impairs renal and urinary conduit function and is a common cause of acute and chronic kidney disease. Acute kidney injury secondary to obstructive uropathy is a frequent event that accounts for 5–10% of all acute kidney injury cases and has a significant impact on morbidity and mortality in those affected. The obstruction in the urinary tract has a profound effect on kidney function due to damage produced by ischemic and inflammatory factors that have been associated with intense fibrosis. Obstructive uropathy can lead to a variety of symptoms and potentially serious complications if not treated promptly. Diagnosis consists of a complete medical history and imaging studies, including ultrasound (US) or computed tomography (CT).
