This chapter synthesizes diverse theories and frameworks on teacher well-being, focusing on the role of school culture and climate in shaping teacher well-being in the Arab region. More specifically, it defines key terms, identifies extrinsic challenges teachers face in the region, and explores how these challenges impact teacher well-being. A theoretical integrative review and a thematic analysis of relevant academic and professional literature were utilized. Potential solutions to address these challenges are also provided.
