Design and Application of the Oil Stain Cleaning Device for the Rack of the Drive Mechanism of the Three Gorges Ship Lift

Aimed at addressing the issues of cumbersome operation, numerous safety hazards, low efficiency, and the risks associated with working at heights during the cleaning of oil stains on the rack of the Three Gorges ship lift drive mechanism, research was conducted on the characteristics of the rack’s dry oil lubrication system and the oil stain cleaning process. A cleaning device for the rack of the ship lift drive mechanism was designed, and the boundary conditions and force conditions of the device were analyzed to provide theoretical guidance for its design. Additionally, the oil stain cleaning process for the Three Gorges ship lift drive mechanism was optimized. Through the design, manufacturing, and testing of the device, the time required for cleaning oil stains on the rack was effectively reduced, improving operational efficiency and safety, thereby ensuring the maintenance and operation of the Three Gorges ship lift.
