Simulation and Analysis of Elastic Flow Lubrication of Three-Stage Planetary Gear System

The structure of planetary gear system is complex, and it is difficult to predict the flow of oil by empirical formula, so it is necessary to simulate and analysis the transient flow field of the gear system with immersion oil lubrication, to study the oil distribution law and the convective heat transfer characteristics of the gears. Based on the actual structure of the planetary gear system, this paper establishes a simulation model of the planetary gear system with immersion oil lubrication, reveals the law of oil movement, and analysis the convective heat transfer characteristics of the planetary wheel system gears in the immersion oil lubrication. The results show that the planetary gears convective heat transfer characteristics, in the mesh area oil distribution, convective heat transfer coefficient is large, lubrication effect is good; planetary gear system gears convective heat transfer coefficient presents the first level of the largest, the second level of the second, the third level of the smallest rule of change.
