A reduced switches 5-level LLC resonant high-gain converter featuring a variable frequency and an integrated control technique for the modulation index is introduced. To ensure optimal high efficiency, voltage gain, zero-voltage switching (ZVS), and broad load variation, a detailed analysis of the chosen LLC tank and converter parameters was conducted. Additionally, the converter’s performance was evaluated under different load conditions and input voltages. The results indicated that the control system effectively adjusted to these changes, keeping the output voltage stable by modifying the switching frequency within a specified range. Moreover, the newly developed five-level converter displayed unique LLC resonant characteristics, which were compared and discussed in relation to existing literature. The theoretical outcomes were confirmed by simulations performed in MATLAB-SIMULINK, and selected results were presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the design converter.

摘要
