The rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence have greatly influenced many different areas, such mathematics education. AI tools make available new ways for improving learning experiences and offering support that is personalized. It also makes it easier to solve complex mathematical problems. This study investigates the utilization of AI tools in Mathematics among higher learning students in Malaysia. This research focuses on the integration of AI from basic to advanced mathematics courses in a variety field of study, looking at effectiveness and challenges. This study will employ qualitative research methodology. The data will be generated through semi-structured interviews, which provide in-depth understanding of how students using AI tools have fitted them into their studies for mathematics subject. The interviews will identify and produce descriptions of students’ experiences and perceptions regarding the effects of the use of AI tools on their learning outcomes. The study aims to fill the gap in the current knowledge base of exactly how AI tools impact math learning in higher learning. Previous studies have mostly focused on the technical capacities of AI in teaching and learning or general applications. Few studies have been made into the specific experiences and outcomes in the use of AI tools in mathematics among students in Malaysian higher learning institution. The current study will fill this gap by providing in-depth practical implications for mathematics education and, in turn, provide meaningful insight into these issues for educators, policymakers, and technology developers. Precisely, the aspiration is that this study will shed light on the prospects and manners in which AI tools have the potential to provide benefits associated with mathematical understanding and show deficiencies needing further improvement in AI-aided pedagogical practices.

摘要
