Chapters 2–4 have investigated the dynamic ETSs by introducing the dynamic variable to adjust the triggering threshold. In this chapter, an adaptive event-triggered scheme (AETS) will be proposed for the IT2 T-S fuzzy systems. Compared with the ETSs in the previous chapters with the constant triggering parameters, the triggering parameters of AETS can be adaptively adjusted to improve the flexibility of the triggering threshold for adapting to the changes of the network environment and the signal transmission fluctuations.
