Embroidery holds significant value. This paper categorizes embroidery into four types: famous embroideries, region-specific embroideries, and ethnic minority embroideries. Through geographical research methods, the geographical distribution of embroidery has been thoroughly explored. With the support of ArcGIS technology, the spatial distribution law of embroidery is analyzed by using geographical concentration index and kernel density analysis tools, which provides reference for the proposal of subsequent protection mechanism. By analyzing the development status of embroidery, the non-genetic inheritance framework is constructed from three dimensions: history, economy, and culture. This paper breaks the limitations of administrative division and provides scientific theoretical basis for cooperation and protection of regional. In-depth research and protection of embroidery can enhance its vitality and achieve sustainable development.
