In the above chapter, the author reveals the IEQ characteristics of Chinese green office buildings based on the measured big data. However, building is a large complex system. The single performance analysis is not sufficient to have a comprehensive understanding of the coupling relationships between different building operating performances. Energy consumption, IEQ and occupant satisfaction are three interrelated aspects of the building operating performance. What we should pursue is the optimum balance between different building performances, rather than reducing energy consumption at the expense of indoor environmental comfort, nor blindly improving IEQ performance and occupant satisfaction without regard to energy use. Therefore, it is necessary to move from single performance analysis to comprehensive performance analysis, and explore the correlation between different building performances.
