Patient is a 53-year-old female. She started to experience low back pain after exertion about 11 months ago with soreness and discomfort and relieved by rest. About 3 months ago, pain started to radiate to the left leg without clear inciting event with self-reported improvement after massage. About 1 month ago, she started to experience low back pain and radiating to the left leg with left ribs pain without clear causes and no change after rest, with night sweats. She was seen at local hospital and diagnosed as protrusion of lumbar spine disc with no improvement after treatment.
