Cast in situ concrete is a method of construction in which the walls and slabs of the structure are cast on the job site using formwork. Analysis and design for cast in situ building structures can be performed using analysis software such as ETABS and reinforcement details can be extracted from it. However, after output generation, the representation of reinforcement data of construction documents is a very important task, and it consumes more time. If any changes occur while preparing the document, it requires a good level of coordination to go through all the details and change it. However, using rebar detailing software such as Tekla Structures, Revit Structures, etc., every structural member can be designed, documented, tracked, and controlled efficiently. The present work focuses on the design and analysis of a building, the preparation of a 3D BIM model of the building, and the integration of BIM in construction. A G + 4 story building was taken for the analysis and design using ETABS software by considering the different load conditions. Shear force, bending moment, and other parameters were evaluated using ETABS. The detailing of reinforcement was done using the Tekla structure.
