Since the Special Cooperation Zone was established in 2014, the development of the Shenzhen-Shanwei enclave has been accelerated. After more than three years of vigorous promotion of investment attraction and project construction, a number of key construction projects such as Tencent Cloud Computing Data Center, China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited, China Resources New Generation Data Center, and Jinke Nanomaterials were progressing smoothly by the end of 2014. The National Highway 324 was improved, with relevant infrastructure and services modernized. Besides, the main and secondary roads in the starting area, municipal infrastructure such as water supply, power supply, gas supply, as well as public supporting projects such as neighborhood centers and cultural & sports centers were in a full-scale operation.
