Elevated water tank is one of the major important structure components for water supply system, particularly in urban and rural residential, industrial, and commercial areas where constant water pressure and storage are needed. Elevated water tanks are generally elevated above ground level to utilize gravity for water supply. This research aimed on the structural design consideration of elevated water tank, highlighting the actual importance of proper design of elevated water tank using STAAD.Pro, and analysis to withstand loads such as live load, dead load, wind forces, and seismic forces. The present study includes the plan and design of elevated overhead water tanks using advanced tools like STAAD.Pro to ensure authentic water storage and distribution system that are safe, efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with international and regional standards.
