Teacher professional development refers to the professional growth teachers attain as a result of obtaining more experience and critically evaluating their instructional practices (Avalos, 2011). For educators, “professional development” is both a necessary requirement and a developmental opportunity, providing a platform for improving and strengthening existing teaching practices (Mehdizadeh et al., 2024; Nabhani et al., 2014).
