Case Analysis of Teachers’ Professional Development Exploration of the Application Practice and Development of the National Smart Education Platform

In March 2022, the Ministry of Education, on the basis of summarizing the operational experience of the “National Primary and Secondary School Network Cloud Platform”, revised, upgraded and put online the “National Wisdom Education Platform”, which is a stage-by-stage achievement in the digital transformation of education and an important support platform for promoting the digital transformation of basic education (Li et al., 2025). The National Intelligent Education Platform is a milestone in the digital transformation of education and an important support platform for the digital transformation of basic education, promoting the development of the digital transformation of basic education from the perspective of students, teachers, and curricula (Liang, 2025), and providing new kinetic energy for the high-quality and in-depth development of education and teaching (Xu et al., 2023), the use of the National Intelligent Education Platform has become an important booster for the digital transformation of education (Ke et al., 2023). In recent years, educational institutions at all levels around the world have actively explored the application practices of the national wisdom education platform, and diversified practice models have been formed. These practices mainly focus on four levels: subject teaching application (Yang, 2023), teacher professional development (Feng et al., 2023), balanced development of education and education governance (Fang et al., 2022). In this paper, we will systematically sort out and summarize the above practices, focusing on analyzing their strategic design, implementation methods and actual effectiveness, with the aim of providing useful reference for improving the effectiveness of the application of the national smart education platform.
