Perioral Rejuvenation with Variable Injectables
摘要
Facial changes associated with aging occur throughout the entire face, but the perioral area is one of the regions where these changes are most prominent (Fig. 7.1). As we age, the lips become thinner, and the surrounding tissues lose elasticity, leading to volume loss and drooping at the corners of the mouth. This area is also characterized by highly dynamic muscle activity, which contributes to the formation of various types of wrinkles. These changes go beyond aesthetic concerns—they also affect a person’s overall impression and the expression of emotions.
