Smart cities use modern tools such as IoT, robotics, AI, and drones to independently support sustainability, ensure safety, and look after people’s well-being. The introduction of these technologies makes services better, energy is used less, and communication is improved. There is a great need for drones and IoT to collaborate because it helps with waste management, electricity saving, weather warnings, traveling, farming, crime prevention, emergency responses, and nature care in cities. This review looks at current studies that describe the direct benefits of drones and IoT for cities and their people.
