In Greece, there is a decrease in births and a significant increase in the elderly population. This chapter demonstrates aspects of psychogeriatrics and gerontology in Greece. Specifically, the first part provides psychogeriatrics and gerontology information, as well as demographic data of old people in Greece. The second part addresses mental disorders of the elderly in Greece. The third part refers to the mental care providers for the elderly. Last but not least, the fourth part presents action and care plans with the goal of strengthen their productivity.
